1.
Oblivion 03:57
Visions of apocalypse seem to grow bright My empty soul coerced to walk to the light The future looks bleak enough for me to leave It wouldn't take a life if I didn't breathe Oblivion, oblivion, sing me to sleep with your destruction Solitude is selling itself for cheap April responsible for laying the wreath The silence surrounds as the memory fades Existence peters out as oxygen decays
2.
Olympiad 04:50
I thought I would see you in the end but you weren't there I thought you would be right by my side, this world to share I thought we would find a way to exist, but it never came I thought I could see you in the end, but I only have myself to blame Life isn't living isn't a life without you Life isn't living isn't a life without you Life isn't living isn't a life I'll see through Life isn't living isn't a life without you Too many times your shadow in the corner would shine bright Too many times my hollow soul would see your stunning sight My moment with you ended so soon, as if hadn't started That night the spark went out, I knew I would die still broken hearted Life isn't living isn't a life without you

about

Patrick Farrugia is the normally known for his work with the art rock project "Douse", however this time around, he is back with a release under his solo project. Almost a year after his previous single, “Find Your Way”, comes a set of two 80s-inspired tracks. “Oblivion”, and “Olympiad”, fall under the release “Too Late”.

A sonic departure from his previous punk and art rock releases, Too Late harnesses energetic electronic drum sounds and vintage synths, mixed with the pop sensibilities he’s known for, to create a nostalgic yet modern set of singles.

Both tracks off of the brand new single were self-produced at in his New Westminster and Vancouver home studios.
